Strange Websites Continued: jodi.org

In the tradition of exploring strange websites on this blog (dark web or otherwise), I came across another one via Pastebin that I thought I would share. It’s called “jodi,” and can be found at http://wwwwwwwww.jodi.org/. Its homepage looks like something out of a sci-fi film, does it not?

There’s only one clickable link on the main page, which then leads you to this “map”:

There are a number of clickable links on the map:

Wow…and I thought South32 was strange. As with that mystery, I really have no idea what’s going on here. If you click on some of the links above, here are the types of things you’ll see (no jump scares, I promise):

At first glance, it looks like a simulated lab of some kind, but I could be way off. One of the pages that may give a clue to what’s going on here is the “BAKLAVA” one, which features links to a number of other sites:

Many of the sites they list are no longer online, but they seem to have an anarchy/paranoia feel to them. If this site isn’t just an ARG, maybe its designer is someone who’s paranoid and concerned with government surveillance and such.

To be honest, I’m stumped with this one. A quick Google search didn’t turn up much of anything. Readers…any other info on this site?

I’m curious what people might turn up. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious and is just a game.

Then again…it might not be.
